I think that you are supposed to eliminate one of the grounds, did you do that?

On mine I cut off one of the ground pin wires and used that pin for the puddle lamp. 2 weeks later I decided that the puddle lamp was worthless and used that wire to eventually hook up a clearance light/signal to the side of the mirror.

Get a hold of Labman he should know what your problem may be.

Second Question, I was going to hook up the puddle lamp on the mirror but I did not have a pin on the mirror in location 11. I have pins on the mirror in 1,3,4,5,6,8, and 9,10 The mirrors are equipped with the puddle lamp so I am not sure what is going on.

Any thoughts would be great.
first off, u said u have an 04 with only power mirrors? are the other options already wired in? some are and some arnt from the factory. is turn sig working but stops when u turn ur heat button on? if so, then i would cut the ground wires in pins 2 and 11. but u say u dont have a wire in pin 11, that means u are down one option, not sure whcih one, because i dont know which pin ground goes to which option. u will need to add a wire in the pin 11 slot and tie that into ur interior dame lights for puddle.

i was just looking at where u say u have pins, how many black wires do u have in ur door mirror harness?? u can PM me back......

Unless these are different mirrors than we are talking about in this thread they should be manual telescoping. The power is to adjust the mirror.

C521 Connector replacement pins

Does anyone know where to buy the replacement pins? The Ford parts guys in my area have no idea where to get them.

How easy is it to move a pin in the connector? Can anyone tell me how it is done?

Thanks

I removed my pins by bending a safety pin and shoving it in the hole, popped right out.

I'm sure this question has been answered covered many times in this thread, but I personally do not feel like reading through all 32 pages right now to find out. So...
Will either of those mirrors from Tascada work on an '04 Lariat?
I really would like those tow mirrors, but want to make sure they will swap and fit fairly easily with my other ones.

These wont fit a 2003, not sure if Ford ever made them. There are aftermarket ones that are out there.

I know you can wire the puddle lamps. It's been discussed earlier in the thread.
