Telescoping trailer towing mirrors finally on
I think that you are supposed to eliminate one of the grounds, did you do that?
On mine I cut off one of the ground pin wires and used that pin for the puddle lamp. 2 weeks later I decided that the puddle lamp was worthless and used that wire to eventually hook up a clearance light/signal to the side of the mirror.

Get a hold of Labman he should know what your problem may be.

Alright, I got the mirrors installed this weekend. I have an 04 FX4 that only had power mirrors.
I moved the ground from location 9 to 8 as indicated in the instructions and everything works fine unless the rear defrost is on. At that point the turn signals don't blink in the mirror. Also the heat in the mirror is not working.
Second Question, I was going to hook up the puddle lamp on the mirror but I did not have a pin on the mirror in location 11. I have pins on the mirror in 1,3,4,5,6,8, and 9,10 The mirrors are equipped with the puddle lamp so I am not sure what is going on.
Any thoughts would be great.

C521 Connector replacement pins
Does anyone know where to buy the replacement pins? The Ford parts guys in my area have no idea where to get them.
How easy is it to move a pin in the connector? Can anyone tell me how it is done?
Thanks

I'm sure this question has been answered covered many times in this thread, but I personally do not feel like reading through all 32 pages right now to find out. So...
Will either of those mirrors from Tascada work on an '04 Lariat?
I really would like those tow mirrors, but want to make sure they will swap and fit fairly easily with my other ones.
