Ouch! Sorry to hear about that.

shame to see that thing wrecked too, yours is one of my fav one the whole forum.
n about getting it fixed or getting a new one, if insurance cant do it i say no cuz you know what they say, itll never be the same truck it was before the accident.

Dude...at least those 951's werent damaged! You're stoked! But seriousely that suuuucks and it wasnt like it was another drivers fault so they could pay for it. Next time...dont swerve out of a little animals way (if it was an animal).

Man thats a bummer to see Thump. I've have seen hits like that at our body shop and they do fix them good as new. The front frame rails on these trucks are designed to be replaced if hit like that. The hood and fenders are no biggie. It looks like that lift held up well also. Good luck with it and glad you're ok.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, things could of been a lot worse!! I'm glad someone is up in heaven watching out for me otherwise I might not be typing this post right now. It's insane though, it was probally about 30 minutes from the time of the wreck and about 30 of my friends were at the scene making sure everyone was okay. Really lets you know who your true friends are. . and to make things even better, I didn't get a ticket and all of the cops REALLY helped us out. Sucks the EVAC people cut my battery so I wasn't able to put the truck in neutral for the flat bed. .

As far as fixing the truck, its at Deland Ford right now being looked at so we can get the estimate. I've got some good friends at a few dealers so it'll help out but we might end up having the frame fixed and do the rest ourselves minus the paint and body work.

BlueFlareside, yes it was up here in Deland.

Thanks again guys, the black beauty will be back here shortly.

PS: Don't expect gears for a while guys!

I know hindsight is 20/20 but isn't there a shift lock release just for these instances or when you can get it out of park?
