2007 F-150 Order Guide released 6-1-06. No major changes. New exterior colors, Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) now standard on all md'ls except HD Payload packages, "Enhanced" side bolsters on all seats like FX4, and navigation system available for Lariat and FX4. No 6 spd auto tranny and no big block motor. 5.4 still 300 hp. Very disappointing to say the least. Was waiting to order a '07, but may now look for a deal on a '06! If anyone has more info on significant changes, please post.
[QUOTE=1969Mach]In 2008, you'll be able to get the F150 with an inline Cummins...QUOTE]
Why even say this when it's not true?
Now you got the hopes up of umpteen members.
You even caught my attention.
With Cummins' contract with Dodge, it won't happen. The 6 cylinder in the LCF's or the GC blocks in Europe would be more likely.

You can get a Cummins right now if you want in the F550 and up. In Fact the last moving van I rented was a FORD with the CUMMINS.
I asked the general manager at Phil Long Ford in Denver last Saturday when Ford was going to put the V6 version of the PowerStroke in the F150, and his answer was that the 2008 F150 will come with the Cummins, so why do I want the PStroke?
There are a gazillion rumors as to this and that, but I'm figuring that if the Dealer is going to start advertising a Cummins in the F150 in 2008, he must know something from the inside.

I did find this piece. Makes my hope a little more realistic IMO.

The new F-250 pick-up truck, which Ford has just launched in the Brazilian and Argentinean markets (named F-150 in Argentina), is equipped with the electronic ISBe engine. Marketed as Maxpower by Ford, with four cylinders, 3.9 liters, 16 valves and 203 HP, it provides a high level of comfort and durability to the driver.
Cummins and Ford have rendered the vehicle more agile, with an engine rating that combines smooth handling with the performance demanded by users of this type of vehicle. A major change is the engine RPM increase from 2580 to 3450 rpm.
An integral part of the performance package in the new F-250 engine is the Common Rail fuel system. Despite being more powerful, the Cummins engine in the F-250 provides a noise level reduction of 4 percent.
In addition to being more economical, this engine generates lower emissions, complying with the Conama P-5 environmental standard. This standard came into force in Brazil this year, and is equivalent to Euro II environmental legislation.

Hydraulic assist power brakes as opposed to vaccum assist. Runs off the power steering pump or an aux pump but generally off the PS. No real advantage to it other than you could run a real heavy cam if you wanted and still have good power assist
