2007 F150 - Still Waiting For Info on Changes

I am surprised that we have not yet heard specific information about the 2007 F150. Don't we usually know about new model year changes by now?

Thats what id like to know. Ford seems to keep secrets pretty well anymore. Chevy is pushing all their 07's already. Im betting they will out sell ford with the trucks with the redesign. I sure hope not. I sure hope ford comes with a bigger engine option or up the horsepower in these 5.4's.

Hello all, this is my first post just got some free time on my hands so i thought i would throw in my two cents. Chevy is having hell selling anything right now and the push of 07's is only making things worse for them. the used truck market is definetly a buyers market in the chevy department. Fords issue with horse power is here to stay at least for the near future, mpg's is ford's focus right now. the diesel will come but not as quickly as we all are hoping for. the finance guys at ford have the pressure on R&D and quality control. the 6.0 litter fiasco will not be allowed to happen again! I would on theother hand expect some minor exterior changes posibily a grill similar with the new expedition. Once again just my views on the situation.

I've been looking for info as well, but to no avail. As far as Chevy sales are concerned, there are a few dealers out my way with a lot full of the new 07 Tahoe/Yukons that aren't moving and a boatload of 06's as well.

I wouldn't bet money on that. The twin turbo that's fixing to come out........ definitely not getting the warm fuzzies on that one yet.

So i was at the dealer today getting oil changed and asked my salesman what he thought about everthing with chevy...He said they are 2 years behind.

As far as the diesels.....he thinks they will be here soon. He said they cut back on the 06's so he expects them to come anytime now.

Don't expect any significant changes for the F150 until 2008 at the earliest, when the small diesel and the Hurricane engine comes online.

The 6.4 liter twin turbo diesel for the Superdutys has been pushed back to early-mid '07 due to the drivability problems they're trying to iron out.

Anything that gets less than 25 MPG highway is going to sit on the lot with gas over $2.00/gallon.

I can't believe you guys complaining about 2-3 dollars a gallon. I m paying $4.50 a gallon right now. I was paying $5.35 a gallon this past fall. I filled my truck up with $156.00 that time ( I have the big tank ). I still drive alot. I think trucks that are getting less than 25mpg are still gonna sell and probably just as good as they always have. I know i am going to buy another one.

No, gas has been over $2.00 a gallon here in FL since before the 04s came out, but I still bought an F-150. Maybe you meant $3.00?
