I hope I'm wrong too, but some of these guys are getting a little wild in their responses. Besides, you know how RP feels about the Titan threads. They never seem to last long.

I bought the F150 first. Then my wife drove it one weekend in the snow, so the very next day we were truck shopping for her.

I guess she liked driving a truck, and whatever she likes, she gets.

"A happy wife is a happy life."

PS - She couldn't stand the thought of driving an SUV, so the truck was the next reasonable choice.

In street racing "if you say your so well versed" than you too know that NO race is equal or fair. Which is exactly my point. Simmer down, there... I was being sarcastic (thus the smiley). I was not taking a shot at Colorado (gorgeous state, by the way). I was jesting at your earlier use of grammar and figured that you had an English teacher at some point in your life in that very state who would be disappointed in your prose. Never mind.

I'm not your father... your father would explain to you that math, regardless of the geographic region you reside, has nothing to do with mechanical engineering or physics. Speed is a function of physics, my dear friend.

I'm not argumementative. I'm just defending my earlier position. Basically, I was stating that I have my doubts, based on my own personal experiences, that even a slightly modified F150 (tuner, exhaust, CIA) would be able to run away from even a stock Titan. You disagree with this statement?

Tell me where it's flawed. It's fairly simple math. I am going to be trying Asinatra's Edge out and when I present my 0-60 times on that, I'll still get people telling me my timing measures are innaccurate, no matter how close to the edge they are The edge uses a chronograph just like a digital watch would.

Just go to your local 1/4 track and run maybe a half a dozen times. Take one of your slips, scan it and post it.

No one can dispute that.

Besides, you're always going to find someone who has an issue with a Gtech or similiar device... You know what they say, "You can please half the people some of the time, but never all the people all of the time."

Well maybe you miss understood me 5.4 liters compared to 5.6 is not apples to apples. And horsepower and torque IS rated by math which creates speed or as you say physics. By multiplying the number of cylinders by the stroke and the clylinder wall diamater or more commonly know as the bore, you get cubic inches which is broken down to liters for simplistic reasons. Hence the diffrence in motor sizes. The replacment for displacement in this case was a tuner. I don't agree that a f150 with a tuner exhaust and intake would lose to a stock titan.

This would'nt solve anything, then he would have people like you arguing that he used photoshop to change the times, even you would of thought of that. You should create your own forum, where your opinion would gladly be accepted. But instead you mock grammar and common sense statements. Nice job bro.

We're gonna line em up on Sunday, and I fully expect him to win. I'm still running 3.55s with 32" tires until I can find a shop that doesn't want $1k+ to swap in 4.56s.
That looks about right with a good launch and a cat back exhaust.

That was a near perfect launch. His other 2 runs were a few tenths higher. Once you get close to the 14s, the launch is much more critical.

I think I've got my camera rig figured out too. I'll test it tomorrow and post a little vid if it works good. The fun won't happen til Sunday though.

Tell me about it. I typically run around 14.5 but have dipped as low as 14.36. @ 1200' elevation.

I went to the track about a 2 weeks ago.I have a 04 screw lariat with 3.73 LS rear. I race my truck for the hell of it and its fun ....I dont get all professional. I aave about a 70 lb speaker box i can take out and a lot o weight i could shave by taking out my book bag, lol, but i dont really care that much. one other thing i have going against me are very heavy 22 inch rims. I have the AF1 intake and flowmaster 40 series exaust. i really dont know how to read half the #'s on my time slip here so ill put them all down and a person who knows better can say whats going on. I want to first say that the first time i took my truck to the track i only had a K&N filter and trhe flowmaster exaust. I ran a 16.46 and then a 16.19. This time with the intake i only got to do 1 run and then the track shut down but here are the numbers. R/T .846 (i know it sucks)(I swear i wasent ready lol)60-2.246 ( i dont know WTF this means because i know its not my 0-60)330-6.572 ( have no idea WTF this is either) 1/8 10.224 @ 67.86, 1000 13.328 (is this meters or something ?) and finally 1/4 15.962@84.82. It was about 40 degrees outside that night so the truck was running good ....and im sure with a few more passes i could have cut down r/t and time so ....just putting some solid numbers out there so see if it helps the arguement.
