Lets stop the bench racing and line em up. And accelerating on the highway full of traffic doesnt constitute as a race, and Ive done plenty of street racing in my day.

And also, I dont see the bragging rights even if a tuned, exhaust, intake F150 did beat a Titan, what if the Titan put on the same mods?? Its comparing apples to oranges. Lets see stock for stock, or race a Titan with comparable mods.

I don't think there is a debate...the Titan would win. Simple as that. I haven't heard a single person say it wouldn't.

My 2 pennies..... I dont know why you would lie, so i believe you. More importantly, i want to believe you.
I have the same truck, minus the e-fans and pullies. I avoid toying with the Titan's and Hemi's because of there supposed power and gearing. But NOT ONE has given me a chance to catch them in second, i am flippin covinced i would catch and or pass in a 0-100 pull. I get KILLED off the line (a truck or so) but start pulling hard at the end of 1st and into second, Which is usually around 60 mph, right when they hit 3rd i think. They assume they have me beat and quit. Meanwhile i am screaming @ +- 3500-4500 RPM's catchin up.
Sadly, i could rant for days about this, and i do to my brother the Tundra owner who beats me like i described above. I've been told before "there's something wrong with your truck" by peeps here on F150online after i stated i lost to a tundra, but i dont buy that. His truck pulls hard around town, but not on the frwy. NO i didnt buy my truck to race other cars, but i do highly enjoy doing it, and nobody likes losing.

And here's something to ponder. In any quarter mile run to almost 90 mph, a victory by a 2 truck lengths would be what...like 4-6 tenths of a second????

Josiah, ignore the haters, enjoy the Triton 5.4

excuse my bad spelling, i blame it on todays schools and Bill Gates.

The debate is whether or not a stock F150 would be able to run a 7 sec 0-60, which I dont think anyone on here really believes. Hence, if a stock F150 did run 7 sec 0-60 than it would indeed be able to beat a Titan, that is the debate...

Street racing is street racing, run what'cha brung. In this case what he brought was good enough, on a diffrent day it might not have been good enough, who knows? And for all the haters quite the bs. Josiah it will not matter what you say or any proof you bring, their will always be that one guy or in my opinion "girl" who will argue and disagree just to do it. All trucks and cars have different parameters, countless times certain cars/trucks will dyno more than the exact build car/truck, in lamens terms it was built better, the bore or cylinder walls we finer etc. I just joined the f150 forum for a more mature atmosphere but it seems even grown men argue like girls. Its too bad; nice kill, but next time make sure you contact all the schmuks in this forum to witness or you'll never get respect. Just the way life is

Good way to put it, if anything I'll be sure to call up Turd...*Tard...I meant Tard. Just pullin your leg, this is all said in good fun. 2005fx4 is going to meet up with me Thursday, I'll give him a ride in my truck and ask him what he thinks of it. It's not bad on power and I hope he agrees, we'll see. I'm going to let him try my XCal2 out and see if he likes what Troyer can do (although it's tuned for my truck, his truck is pretty close to mine). If he's willing to race I'll record that for you guys.

They don't have the same mods available to them as we have. Nobody makes a chip or tuner that has shown an real gains. Catbacks and intakes don't provide the same gains for them either. Does this mean we're cheating just because the mods are there for us?

You'll get your Titan vs. F150 vid this weekend. Just don't get to upset over the outcome.

I believe as long as you unload the tune's from your...oh yeah, I think you're right. It has to be a BME9 vehicle, doubt it considering it's an 05. I'll have to let him know.

You have to realize as well that when going from a roll it all depends on your gearing. A roll from 40 and a roll from 45 can give you two different results on two differently geared trucks. Ive puched it with a C5 vette at 4000 and got waxed, i caught up and punched it at 4500 and waxed the vette. The difference. I was in the sweet spot in my powerband the 2nd time and he wasnt. Moral of the story, kick it when in your sweet spot

Yeah, kick it in the sweet spot. So an argument like this can follow.

i agree 100%, punch it @ 30 mph or 60, then we have a fighting chance.

I will tell you its hard for me to beleive that one too. My truck ran a 11.12 stock (with 24s) and 7.23 (best...7.6s average) with my basic three mods (Edge, CAI, CAT-BACK). Thats a gain of almost 4 seconds. It looks like if it was that fast stock it would be an absolute rocket now with all mods he has. I am not saying he is lying at all...just that the difference between 7.9 and 8.5 are huge on paper and almost unnoticible in real time...and impossible to measure without some sort of control device. I trust the timer on my Edge is accuarate about as far as I can throw the truck....BUT I do trust that it offers a fair comparison between runs and pretty fair between runs measured by other Edge units (assuming the gearing and tire size is set correctly).

Good luck, make sure it's in the daylight, same mods, same color, same wheels/tires, make sure you get a professional driver, ummm what other excuses could a "girl" make. C'mon one of you girls chime in... Losers always have excuses.
