Procharger and Vortech owners

I have been researching and still havent found any solid numbers on what the kits can make. Everyone is missing a part or needing a tune.

If anyone knows for sure, or can link me. Could you tell me what kit at what boost level with what mods is putting down?

Best I recall, he has a custom tune from Sal and a 12lb pully.. Like you said, he is still having a few problems with the shifting and and over riding the rev limiter.

HellBound should have his Vortech finished up soon.

I'm going to the bank on Tuesday and looking into getting another loan.. Seriously thinking about buying the Roush kit... then the intercooler when it comes out.

Those procharger kits just aren't putting out like people are claiming they should. I thought some manufactures claimed they were sposed to put down 370rwhp on just a 9lb pully. I wouldnt mind that and just use some methonal injection or maybe a little giggle juice to get me over that 400rwhp mark

I'm interested to see what hellbounds powerdyne puts out, only vortech one I have seen a guy is having problems. I know on those 05 stangs they do a super job, and with a good dyno tune are getting 40 more rwhp out of the "stock vortech" tune.

I'm going to get boosted for a late christmas present. So im doing a little research on power potential.

If I was you, dont get that roush... get the whipple if you plan on spending that sorta money.

Ugh... Yes.

I don't know about your financial situation, but I can't just hand out 4 grand.
Either pay for it with credit card or get a bank loan and pay for it that way. Just depends on which one has lower interest.

If I can pay on it for 8-12 months, that'd be great.

I can either wait 12 months to save up for it, or I can get it now and pay later...

Is the Kenne Bell out yet? The number that's been floating around here is 140 RWHP.

Whipple will put out 170RWHP (roughly), what does that KB cost. On their site they're only showing a 114RWHP increase on the Expy, so I doubt they're even close. Not only that, KB has an entire PDF document claiming bolt ons add up to nothing, when we have people like fatherford who are making great hp additions with them. Go figure. I would not buy from someone making those claims.

Truck is doing great. Still slow though.
I did order the xcal2 and af1 the other day though.

In one of my Truckin' mags, it has a newer f150 with the kenne bell on it, and it only produced 384hp at the flywheel.

I would have thought the gains would be a little higher with that kind of investment..
