Not the way he did it.

Correct. But you will need to do some duct-work to get the flow through vents at the rear of the console to work. That part I don’t know anything about. Did I mention that you will need to change to the flow through console and more.

I didn’t even think about hooking up the rear vents.

I got mine on eBay. You can get them from the dealer or you can also get aftermarket ones on eBay for about $145.00. Either way they're just plug-n-play, 15 minutes to install.

I’m working on the update to my gallery with descriptions on the console install. I’ve got a lot of pictures but don’t have pictures of every detail. This may take a few days, I’ve got a real day job and my own business on the side that I’m working on. But I’ll have it ready by the end of the week.

Oh yeah, great job on the console!!
Thanks. You’ve got a sweet looking Wide Glide. I got the Deuce a few years ago and I had to decide between the Deuce and the Wide Glide too. The exhaust is a Vance & Hines “Big Radius” exhaust system. I’m sure they have them for the DYNA also, check for a deal on eBay. Nice looking F-150 aslo.

Excellent walkthrough...looks like something one could do over a weekend and at least get the mechanical parts done. The finishing touches look like they could be a pain but you did an awesome job. I would have thought your truck came from the factory like that if you didn't say so.

Thanks; all the mechanicals can be done in a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Your truck will be up and running in no time.

The site cut off some of the longer descriptions with the photos, so I added sheets with the complete descriptions.

I, as many have already said, also wanted to say great work on your console conversion. The sole reason I bought the truck was because of the console. I think it looks really great in the regular cab.
