major PROPS how much did you end up spending on everything. I would love to do that too but I have the floor 4x4 shifter.

Guys, thanks for all the positive feedback, it makes me feel good that you all like my work.

Yes, the lights and shift lockout and everything else in the console work. There is a gray unused connector below the radio that is there for the console. Just pull it loose from its storage hole, route it down to the front of the console, plug it in and you are good-2-go.

As always, on the regular cab it’s not that easy. On the regular cab the positive lead for the rear Power Point is not active (it’s there but not active) so you will have to hook it up to a 20A fused power source with some 12GA wire.

Hey man, how about some 411 on your backup camera. Lord knows I need one.

Nice job on the conversion.

I have the same HU. Haven't had it installed yet and was wondering how it would look in the truck. Looks great. Thanks for posting the pics.

You’re right I used the silver cover under the armrest, cut it in half (got rid of the cup holder end) then turned it around 180° and fit it into place. I used the sides of the second console to make the sides for the section between the console and dash.

The shifter came with one of the consoles I bought on eBay.

The steering column is the original, only the upper and lower steering column covers are new.

The camera works great, whenever you put the truck in reverse the rear view shows up on the Navigation screen. You can also turn it on while driving down the road (in case you want to check on a trailer or the babe following you). It takes some getting use to, just like looking at your right side rear view mirror “Objects are closer than they appear”. I haven’t done any towing yet but it should be great for lining up the hitch. It might be better mounted higher and looking at a downward angle so you can really see how close something is to your bumper. The way its mounted works for me because I know that anything at the bottom edge of the screen and bumper height is 10” from the bumper.

Ford dealer. About $32.00, I’d have to look up the receipt to be 100% sure.

VERY nice! I love people that do this kinda stuff! Make it look stock, but make it the way you want it. And that V-rod is lookin pretty slick too! Are those different pipes or is that the street-rod version?

Thanks, looks like you like to tinker also.

About the V-Rod, it’s not a Street-Rod, the pipes are Screamin Eagle 16 Gauge Double Barrel Exhaust. The paint is Red with Ghost Flames and she has added a lot of other chrome. She says, thanks for asking.
