T-case selector was mis-aligned internally. a bit of violence fixes everything in the long run

Yep.

OEM Motorcrafts - either single or double-plat.

You do however, get what you pay for. I'm also reluctant to recommend NGK's. Here's why:

Any plug manufacturer that can't tightly control heat ranges are not on my Christmas card list

See, I'm really likin that more than the $8ish for the Bosch's. Even if there is a difference, I doubt it's worth 4x cost

well i ordered the Motorcrafts, and will be doing a coolant flush/fill next week as well. just gonna do 50/50 mix. also fininshed up and got my Efan working. and think im gonna hold off on replacing the brake fluid, from what i've read theres not much of a point. but my power steering is making noise so that one i will do. just gonna fill it up with DEX/Merc. and debating on doing the O2's. i need to do it, but also need to get my Mustang up and running and the time/money im dropping on the F150 is taking away from that

Ohh no you didn't go there, let me climb up on my soap box:
This is one of my pet peeves for ANY vehicle.
Yes in my race car the brake fluid gets changed a few times a year because it sees severe duty. In a daily driver please change it every 2 years.
In my wife's daily I neglected to change it at the 2 year mark, it went 30 months and was the darkest nastiest crap.
If you tow or use your truck I'd go with once a year.
Brake fluid is cheap insurance, a 1 qt bottle of Valvoline DOT3/4 is around $10

Off soap box

well just replaced the power steering fluid with Valvoline Maxlife MERC. the fluid that was in looked red, but was very dirty. my squeak isnt gone, but is much better. and the fuel filter i picked up seems to be a bit longer and narrower than whats currently on the truck. Motorcraft part# FG986B F89E9155AA
will that work ok? and best way to replace all the brake fluid? figured just bleed them dry, then fill and bleed again?

next up: radiator flush and fill, Gatorback belt, spark plugs

Do not bleed them dry - keep the reservoir full while bleeding or you will have a hell of a time getting the air out. That's the correct fuel filter.
