All-terrain tire reviews

Howdy all,

I drive an 08 2wd XL. Im looking to get a 2" leveling kit and new wheels and tires soon (probably 275/60/20s or 285/55/20s) and im not sure what type of tire to buy.

My main concerns are treadlife, looks, price, and performance on street and light off-roading (not going through many big mud holes lol).

Im pretty much thinking cooper zeon ltz's or nitto trail grapplers, although I want to hear about anything you guys are running.

What are you guys running and what do you recommend? pics are appreciated. Let's see em! (oh and hear what you think of them too)

Both of those are excellent. Add BFG AT KO's, **** Cepek FC II's, Toyo AT's, Pro Comp Xtremet AT's and Mickey Thompson ATZ's to the list.

trail graps are sweet but it is unseen how they will fair with mostly street driving. the BFG at's are always a great choice for 50-60K as are the zeon ltz's since your gonna be doing 20"s

i have now problem buying used bfg's. i bought my first set with about 40% tread and then ran them for 10-15k miles and sold them with about 10-15k left on them

I have the cooper zeon and I am very pleased with them. Price and looks are hard to beat IMO. Treadlife seems to be good as well. I have about 15000 on them now and I don't see any reason they won't go to at least 50000. They handle and ride great for an AT tire.

Honestly I don't like the look of the Terra graps or the tread pattern. But the one plus they do have is how soft the are. Which is why they wear out faster.

idk ...i think they both last pretty long, and our leaders in all terrain tires....i think your lookin at 50,000 for either...just depends on which look you like better

it all depends on how they are maintained really. but the nittos ride really soft since they use a soft rubber compound. a main reason ppl get 20-30k on the mud graps usually

You could try hankooks ATm, i haven't really done any 4wheelin with them yet, but they ride awesome! Really smooth! I don't kno about there treadlife tho, i bought them EXTREMELY CHEAP, used w/about 20-25k on them. They seem like a really soft tire, but still have a ton of tread on them, prolly atlesast 60% i think. I'll prolly get around another 25-30k out of them i think.

I like BFGoodrich All-Terrain. I have a 2" level with 305/65/18.
