33" tires on 18x10 wheel

I know that with the stock 18s the best bet for a 33" tire is the bf goodrich AT 285/65/18. But with aftermarket 18x10 wheels( Mazzi Hulk) what are my new options in a 33/34" tire

your not going to be able to go any bigger with that wide of a tire.....that rim is 2.5 inches wider than the stock rim so you really dont need to go any wider or it would rub, still might rub a little, you'll need to make sure you get the right backspacing...Wandell will be able to help you nail that down.

A lot of people have run 325/60-18's (33x13.00) on 18x9 inch wheels (5 or 5.5 inches of backspacing) on stock 4x4's by using a 2.5 inch leveling kit. One member is running that tire on a 18x10 Mickey Thompson wheel, but that wheel has 6 inches of backspacing.

I think you would be better off with a 8 to 9 inch wide wheel with 5 or 5.5 inches of backspacing. Plus, 10 inches is a little too wide for the 285/65-18's. I know, I've been running 285/75-16's on 10 inch wide wheels for almost 50,000 miles, but I have slightly more rubber on the sidewall with 16 inch wheels.

This is the truck wandell was talking about with the micky thompson 18x10 rim with 6inches of backspacing with 33x13 terra grappler tires, but like he said i also have 2.5 daystar leveling kit on the front.I also put a 1.5 addleaf in the rear wich u don't have too that was just my preference.

This is a Ford forum.... however, you'll need to measure.
