Thumbs up Killed a Tundra

Ever since seeing the Tundra commercial on TV, (the one where the Tundra pases an F150 towing a boat), I've been looking for a Tundra.
Today with my wife driving, we found one.
He was behind us, and I had my wife pull over and let him pull along side. We nudged it and on the second nudge he hit it. He got his rear bumper to our front bumper befor my wife nailed it.
Within 100 yards we had him by 3 truck lengths.
We looked over and it was a bunch of teenagers, and the truck still had the window sticker on it.
We came to the next light and there were cars in front of us, so we couldn't do a 'hole shot', but along side of us was another F150 with a bunch of teenagers in it, and they were laughing there *** off at 'the kill' we just did.
So much for the misleading Tundra commercials!!!!

I would not do anything to risk anybody's safety. I have driven over 1 million miles in my lifetime. A little fun on open roads
is what motoring is all about. Why don't all vehicles made have a 60MPH governor on them? I have driven race boats at 102MPH, and done it safely. Why are so many people on this board talking about performance and 'superchips' and exhaust mods, and intake mods, and "kills" and how their trucks run.
Lighten up, performance can be done safely, on open roads.
Maybe you need to be on a board where people talk about their 4 bangers, and how they are faster than bicycles and wheelchairs.

Great Tundra kill!

Why all the bashing... I can remember back when I turned sixteen. A friend and I were racing on neighborhood streets. That was stupid! We both got speeding tickets.

Racing on major throughfares... thats not so bad. As long as your not doing ridiculous speeds and not weaving in and out of traffic I hardly see harm in it.

Being sensible, like anything else in life, makes the difference between being an idiot and being safe.

When you race, you just have to use your head. of course, now racing in a neighbor hood is pretty stupid, but whats wrong with racing on a 2 or 3 lane nice, straight highway when the stop light turns green????? Its just good ol' american fun! The trouble starts when you get them rice rockets racing cause they sound just like my farts.

i'd love to know how it would have turned out if you didn't have all the mods when sprinting against a stock Tundra..

i assume the same, just would not have beat them as bad!

Read most of your posts here, all you do is complain!!!
Who made you the 'Mother Terresa" of this board??
Did I say WE were speeding? We may have raced from 20-30MPH, and TOTALLY legal.

For those of us that have Tundras running alongside our new F150s, you might beat them by a bumper in a drag race, seeing how you have a 5.4/4.7 advantage,

However the Tundras are not going back for heads, oil leaks, transmissions, replacement crap FQR engines, piston slap, and no one at Toyota has forgotten which radiator goes in a tow package.

Great kill.
Markmizzou-You need to turn your keys in to the dealer and go buy a Yugo. That way you can go as fast as a moped and won't hurt no one. Hehehe

Hey, guys! Lay off already. You all know that Mark's right. Racing on public highways IS dangerous. People are killed racing on our highways every single day of the week.

Hell, I used to do it when I was younger. I've buried the speedometer on my cars more often than I care to admit. I'm talking about speedometers that pegged out at 120 and 150 mph. I've even participated in outlaw drags when I was in highschool and college. In those days, the highways were practically deserted.

These days, I'm older and a lot more sensible about things. Sure, I'll floor it, but only up to either the speedlimit or whatever the traffic is doing at the moment.

You can't deny it. Racing does endanger lives. Just ask the cops about how many fatalities there are due to racing.

Ask yourself this. Do you want your kids racing on public roads?

You know, I agree with what Mark is saying, but I'm not too happy about the way he's going about saying it. On the other hand, I definitely don't like the way the rest of you are reacting.
