20Screw01,

Your code P0175 involves the driver side, bank 2. This code has to be addressed before any other diagnostics is performed. What have you done to eliminate this code? When you replaced the injectors did you also replace the driver side injectors?

I did not replace the drivers side injectors yet due to seeing the fouled plugs on the PS bank. I was wondering why it would say its a code from the ds bank when the ps is so rich?

Also if anyone wants to take a look at the datalogs from the ds and ps bank please send me a message...Thanks!

Me I wanna see what yours looks like, compare it to mine. I may have missed it with my own crap going on (axle swap), did you rectify the code?

The code you are seeing for the driver side is set because the PCM is trying to run such a short pulse to control a rich situation on that side that it has reached the short pulse width threshold and a code was set. I would disregard the other bank till the cause of this code is found. I would clean the fouled plugs on the passenger side and then start the truck and let it idle. Do not for any reason touch the accelerator. Data log the injector Pulse Width, Engine Load MAF Count, Timing, RPM, Commanded RPM, Long and Short Fuel Trim, and A/F Ratios. Reset the KAM and data log again.

So Jean your saying that the PCM is trying to lean out the DS bank because the PS bank is so rich? Also Whats the KAM?

thanks for the help on this!

KAM = Keep Alive Memory. Basically the way I understood it was its what the PCM uses from your last run times to set A/F R

Do you guys think that I should replace the injectors on the bank with the code? Even though the plugs look good on that bank and the other bank (PS) are wet and fouled?

Thanks Dave..

I am going to replace the other four this weekend so that will be all of them. The thing I cant figure out is why the rich code is coming from the DS bank but the plugs look great. Then the PS Bank plugs look horrible and soaked but no code for that bank?

Thanks Dave..

No. Reset your brain and forget about anything on the passenger side. The PCM is trying to lean out the driver side but it has reached the limit of what it can do. It has noting to do with the passenger side. The fuel pressure at 48psi is reeking havoc with the idle. What has been done to lower the psi? Concentrate on the problem code.

Ok I have already cleared the codes and I will disconnect the battery for 10 min to reset correct? I have no idea what to do about the fuel pressure at idle? Is that in the tune that it can be adjusted or is there something I can do?

are you running some sort of FMU or is it just an upgraded pump like mine? If its just a pump, Mike Dunn I believe has a controller for the pump.

Further Klitch asked; is the fuel system stock? Did you add a higher flow pump to the tank / fuel line or are you using some other way to increase fuel delivery?

Nope I have no controler. I just threw a 255lph in it and thats it. Stock fuel system except for that. And then bolted the lightning motor in. I am now assuming I need a controller? Klitch do you have one for your swap?
