Sounds like the AC drain. If you have AC and use it - Fix it. Quite a bit drains out of there. I had to lengthin that hose clear back to the tranny support. There was No where to put it with the LT's in place. That thing wizzed all over my 02's and caused all kinds of problems. With LT's , your O2's get set back - Right under the AC drain, - I didn't know what was going on for awhile

its not ac...i cant find my answer with my chilton or AD, so it does not seem that important but there is a reason it is as long as it was i am sure...The part that broke off is lying on the ground in the floor dry.

Trans tcase and shafts are back in. I made it pretty easy, i jacked the tcase up into place and slid it toward the rear, pinching it between furthest back crossmember than ratchet strapped it, put the trans in place bolted it back on and slid the tcase forward...Thought it was gonna be way more difficult.

That black hose is the reason these trannies sometimes puke when you play off road. If you sit in cold water with a hot tranny water can get sucked into the tranny. If you plan on playing off road reroute that hose up the firewall alongside the t-case breather hose.

Just make a mental note of how low that tube is if ever you decide to drive through a deeeeeeep puddle...... For $1.00 worth of rubber hose you can reroute it up top the firewall like the t-case tube.
