NewTSB on spark plug removal
ok, so everyone is talking about these Champion one piece plugs, but the Champion website says they don't have a product for this engine! HELP! does anyone know anything or maybe have part numbers for the Champion one piece plugs? also, are they even worth the trouble of finding, or should I just stick with the stocks and the nickle anti-seize?

Count me into that 8 for 8 group. My recipe was a bit of luck coupled with the dealer carbon cleanout about 5K before the change. A quick shot or two of PB Blaster in the spark plug well for about 10 minutes or so to help break them loose, and then the old back and forth with the ratchet to work them out. Motorcraft Plugs and anti-sieze to finish it up.
Ok so I have the tool kit, just in case, and went to pull the first spark plug out this afternoon. only thing is, my 5/8 Spark plug socket didn't fit ????? so I use a 15mm deep socket, fit fine. Weird Right???? any thought to that? also When I unscrewed it, it wont come out all the way. I felt it completely unscrew. and was able to screw it all the way back in, and tighten it. but the spark plug wont come out of its hole. any thought to that?
I assume you figured it out by now, but just in case you didn't the plug is broken. The threads have torn away from the shroud and are spinning around the ceramic, you need to snap the plug off so you can use your puller tool. I had one do this also.
is there anything to prove that? i just took my truck in to get some service done to it and they are claiming the spark plugs need to be replaced @ $650 + i think $40 per broken spark plug.. are they trying to squeeze me for more money?
Started in 2008, If you have brown boots on your plugs you have the newer heads.
Black boots mean problems on 2008 and earlier.
Are you sure they are not adding in other things because of mileage like: radiator flush, injection cleaning, coil over ignition, fuel filter? just to name a few.
