From my understanding, cell was just the same as tank, except it has a bladder that way you have some protection against spillage. Say if the outer shell is punctured, perhaps the cell (bladder) would not be.

I meant more like use the plastic sender its self, I believe you can remove the float arm from it and use the one from the 33 gallon tank so the range of swing will be for the tank, but the sending unit will work with your gauge. thats my thought process.

That tank would make a great addition for someone planning on driving the Alaskan highway.

does anyone know the fuel line size on my truck? the inlet line and the return line?

im going to buy steel fuel line because the rubber is 16 bucks a foot for fuel injection hose.

also theres a sweet shop called "Jeffsbroncograveyard some of you may know the site just add .com to that. im going to take that 33 gallon take there and get a sending unit that fits and a breather and maybe an inline pump.

Where should i mount the pump? im thinking driver side frame rail right were my old tank used to be that way i dont have to run any wires for the pump.

if someone could get me a wiring digram of the fuel sytem for the pump sending unit that would be awesome i have a haynes book but i dont know were it is now.

should be getting income tax money back its going to happen this time i cant stand seeing my tips sit in box's any more!!!!

I used a floatless sender from this company: http://www.centroidproducts.com/ when I put my tank back there.

They make it to suit the depth of your tank, all you have to do is install it into the top, hook it up and you're good to go. They're not expensive.

It's been five years since I replaced them, but IIRC, the supply line was 5/16" and the return 1/4".

The Centroid Sender works with the OE Gauge, just be sure to tell them you have an F-150 and that you want the "old" type that responds instantly after fillup.
