Disagree, it's not fun to come down a freeway transition at night doing about 110, and see a cop on the shoulder with his lights blacked out:o.

I got them last Friday, if you look closely you can see that they are replica's (not knock-offs), because they don't have the Harley Logo in the center of the hub cap. I was talking to the guy that owns the shop when I picked them up and he said that if they bought the license from Harley, it would've added $40cost per wheel. So $1500 later, I had brand new wheels with an excellent finish and warranty, with good tires mounted and balanced on them. I'm happy, it's fits the look of my truck too, smooth and clean, I kinda like the lack of the Eagle in the hub cap, but to each his own...

Edit: Oh yeah, Patman he has Lightning wheels too. Chrome and Satin 18" and 20", and one tire package.

Thanks. i've never like the way most pickups bumpers are just hanging on the end of the frame. i like the lines to blend together.
i'm working with red and chrome now.
more things coming soon

BTW clean set up under your hood. i'd like that in mine

I'll jump in with the bunch of happy campers. My 97' 4.6 is reliable with 226K on it and gets about 14-15mpg. I can live with it.

Add me to the list of happy 4.6ers. Mine isn't even close to stock at this time, but it would still be running fine if the motor that came in it was still in there. Don't let anyone tell you that a 4.6 can't get a truck moving in a hurry, cause I have one that does .

Another one here. 4.6 Expy w/ 46,000 miles.

AFE, Sniper custom tune, and a Maggy swap so far.

Also, my dad's F150s (both current and previous) have been 4.6 motors.

Well, count me in. I have a 97 F150 Scab 4x4 with the 4.6. I have pulled this trailer with my truck. The trailer weighs about 5200# empty and when loaded I'm guessing up to 6500#. The dang thing is about 34ft long. I have over 208k miles on the truck.

I did this to my baby about 3 weeks ago. It's going in tomorrow to get fixed. I know a guy in a body shop that found a used bumper with matching upper pad.

4.6 Luv

Fella's, I've got 230,000 miles on my 01 SCrew 4X4 lariat. It is starting to grunt a little with the 25ft camper behind her and there's noticable engine tap-tap-tap, but, she don't burn or leak any oil. I've had both engines in identical trucks had an 01 with the 5.4 - got rid of it because I could only get 12-13 mpg at best. Traded it in on the same truck with the 4.6, I've always gotten between 17 and 18 "all around" driving. If I stay in town I get 16, if I roll just interstate @ 75 mph I get 19. Biggest difference in the two is when you're towing.

Another 4.6 guy here! Drove the 5.4L and liked it, but negative equity is biatch! I would have been paying too much over my budget had I got the 5.4 I wanted. I don't regret the 4.6 at all. It gets me where I need to go, and I know there's plenty of aftermarket out there to give me more power anyways.
