My bad - I had sigs turned off and didn't know it -No ones was showing up - Hell , I didn't know you could do that . I must have done that when the site was on the fritz the other night.

I went to see my tuner today, and he was working on his newest car.
03 cobra, automatic tranny swap, solid rear axle swap with 4 link, race front susp, fully built engine with stock blower, it will pull the wheel on the street with those tires! this is the only picture I got of it. this car is sik!

last step on build up is making the intake manifold match up with the cyl head p/s head water porting in the back. no clue why but there was a complete mismatch from the head to the manifold. the guys suppose to be working on it, he fixed the crack now he's cutting the old chunk out that just wont work and scabbing a new piece on then he'll mill it flat.
my next chore will be trying to get into the garage... 4ft of snow/ice built up in front of the doors. which i have to decide which bay to do it in.

thats the trucks fit, if ya cant tell very well the top of the truck hits the rubber on the door and pushes it up 1/2"
this is whats left after all the raining last night. i got tired of shoveling slush / ice for 2 hrs lol.
honestly i plan on dropping the truck onto small blocks so my short butt can reach things easier for the swap lol

Ok guys.... I Have a story for you.
So me and the guys are sitting at a gas station talking. My bud with a lightning pulls up and says this camaro SS just beat him as bad as I beat him. I said ok ill go run him. From 30mph, we nail it, i spin out and bounce off the rev limiter, giving him time to get by me, well all the way to 120 or so, we are side by side. so we race from a dig, which i told him would be pointless because i wasnt prepared to race... I spun out and he got ahead of me by about 10 feet all the way to 70... so tomorrow will be a rematch with the slicks and torco.
We get ran off the station lot, so we go to the place where i did the donuts in the snow. we are all talking, and I said, he guys, stay here, i go a little ways away and attempt a donut. I nail it and cut the wheel, it whoops around so fast its not even funny... It starts bouncing off the rev limiter like crazy, i was like wtf.... I thought it was in neutral, i look down and its in drive, i let off and drive away to park, the rpm just shoots up like its in neutral. ****!!! smoke fills the cab, i shut it off and coast to the parking spot.... tranny fluid is just gushing everywhere... I pop the hood and smoke just rolls out. its like a garden hose under my tranny. Cops pull in, oh ****. they ask who the driver is, and i said that would be me. so i have to get in his car and we drive over to where i did the donut. He said i was sitting over in the gas station and heard you, now your going to tell me what just happened. I said well im not giving you any excuses, you can see what happened. He said well it looks like you went this way, then back that way, but how did you do that without stopping? I was like uh.... i dont know. the trail of tranny fluid made it obvious it was a donut. so we go back by my truck, he fills out all these papers, he tells me he knows my family, i was like great make my night worse. so he said i have to clean up all that oil and he will let me go because looks like i learned my lessen the hard way. and he said I have to clean up my mess, and when im done, come by the police station to talk to him some more. so i get a bud to take me to walmart, we buy 150lbs of cat littler, a few other guys run home to get the brooms to sweep it around, we get it all cleaned up. I go to the police station, he said lets go see how well you cleaned it up. he was happy with it, and let me go without a ticket. so i go to walmart again to buy a tow strap, as it was much closer than my house. I have my friend with his tundra tow me to my garage.
I Put it up on jack stands ready for tomorrow to pull the tranny, i get under neath the truck and clean up all the oil, which is everywhere, all over the windshield, the hood, the wheels, its just a mess. I notice the access plug for the t/c drain plug is missing, hmm... so we went back and found it later. I spun the flywheel around to see the drain plug on the converter, and fluid starts gushing out. hmm that's weird, i spun it some more and see a big hole where the plug should be... this is whats left of my t/c drain plug
how the hell did it blow the head off this plug??? I had to use an easy out to get it out. I put a new plug in it, filled it with new fluid, it lost 14 quarts, started it, ran through the gears, its good as new! I was 100% sure it blew the tranny. this is unreal! I am so relieved.
