yeh i was thikning that to ring seized in bore and cause it to score the sides of the bore. i was wondering which one it was if i remember correctly number 4 runs the hottest unless he did the coolant mod. unless he spun the motor up high enough to float the piston. that would cause the piston to rub up top instead of the bottom. i guess he picked a good time for the new motor! im wondering what minds gonna look like once i pull it appart

DANG Joey - these are between 40 - 50 bucks - Little suckers sharpen up to 1/2 in 5 seconds - Wouldn't be without one now - The Mechanic at work use to carry one of these on the service truck .. Nothing like needin a bit when everyone's closed, to far away - or, you just don't feel like going anywhere..- that sucks..

You dont need the shank, chuck it back up and keep using it.
The only unusaeable bits are bent ones.
Another thing I do with broken bits is take them to the bench grinder and sharpen the opposite ends to use tham as make shift EZ-outs.

well I got my pump working. Flowing the water just fine, put 4 gallons in it, hooked up my laptop in hope of it working, got on the road, and I have 100% power. I data logged it and got to a stop light, gave it almost half, and it just lit the tires up all the way untill it hit 2nd, and this was at ALMOST 1/2... Im going to send the data logging to my tuner to make sure it all looks ok b4 I go WOT, but I can not even tell you how amazing the power is. I just have a bad feeling about my tranny. Videos will be taken tomorrow

Oh, and my IAT2 didnt get over 110 running it like that!

i save on the bits by drilling real slow and putting lube on the bit

learned from that a machinest saves alot of drills

Yeah, its different with a hole saw, it catches and snaps or bends the bit. Anyway, enough on drill bits.
