Really , Now all I need is a good pic!

A Police Officer I met (Same guy who arrested me lol) before I left MI is watchin things for me back @ the ranch. He emailed stating that my oldest daughter was pulled over last night in town driving her 4wheeler w/a big *** Rebel flag tied to the truck and a bunch of rowdy's riding in the bed

WTF was she thinking ?? I can't get a signal on my cell to find out more info, but I guess everyone had to walk home

That would make a good pic for a sig though.

Im putting a stock L alternator back on. I see no reason on my truck as to why the alt. did what it did. No blown fuses, no bad grounds, nothing. When this happened, I had my radio off and the headlights on. not a big strain on the alt IMO. I figure the alt. just malfunctioned...

Was that 20amp in-line fuse connected to the same 175 amp post as the alternator harness is. You know what I mean ? It's yellow on the 98. If it was, then yes, it should of have blew IMO.

I don't know if I would trust the 175 fuse for the alternator now. If you get allot of flickering with the lights when driving after you get her goin again. That fuse can cause that. They fracture inside their housings when they go bad and it's a b^tch to figure out if it hasn't happened to you yet.

I would at-least check the AWG size of the stock L's harness before hand. That trucks to nice to go up in flames.

Guy at the parts store said he sees this quite often from ford alternators... Everything is good. Turns out I had a vacuum cap that fell off behind the s/c. So with that fixed, pcv lines fixed, cleaned everything, port matched the plenum, and filling the silencer holes, it sounds and runs a lot better! Its a lot smoother, and the idle is so much better. What nitrous?
