Ok, where I went to school 235 > 220. Or if you prefer the 99 version 260 > 220. Or in 01 260 > 231. Or the latest version 300 > 248.

PS these are factory engine HP ratings.

wasn't faster150 one of the reasons that thread and many others got locked???

some people claim thier 4.6's are better but everyone i know with a mustang gt (there are loads in CENTEX) wants to swap to a 5.4
I'll keep my 5.4's they feel stronger and can rev to 8 grand and more if i need them to (after a little forged internals go in) but you got to build a 4.6 to get it to safely rev that high too so either way you are gonna be using billet forged internals

common sense: more torque = better excelleration

according to faster150 is hinting at: folks with lightings and harley trucks need to swap down to 4.6's since that will improve our performance

i wonder why reputable people like "johnny lightning" and JDM haven't thouht of this great idea in thier top of the line trucks i can't wait to tell rob that his 9 second lightning can be faster if he puts in a smaller engine

i think my signature says it all

HI!... Well I guess you just admitted it then! Finally he has seen the LIGHT.

BTW both my 5.4's have made more H.P/TQ than your e-bay 4.6.

I believe BUILT 5.4's made 265RWH.P which is also more than your posted RWH.P#'s.........

You just SO "POWNED" yourself.

What an idiot......................

P.S. Neal, My truck runs between 8 and 9:1 a/f on WOT, but when I get up and around the 4,500-5,000 range it starts leaning out.... to 10.5 or 11:1 ... Do you experience this with your truck? Or does it stay at a set a/f ratio? Thanks!

ill say it for the 4th time.. my RWHP numbers were in 2nd gear making my 3rd gear rwhp numbers much higher. your rwhp numbers on stock motor was 251 and if im making 242 in 2nd gear doesnt that make your heavily modded 5.4 weaker?
