Question 6.8 V10 stroker

Does anyone know if they make a stroker kit for the Triton v10. I planned on supercharging for more power but if a stroker kit is out there I'd rather go that route so I can renew my engine.

You rightfully edited your post. Mr. Pony_Driver is correct. The V10 just got 2 more cylinders.

Sean Hyland makes a stroker kit for the 5.4. It increases the stroke to 4½ inches. You might contact them to see if they plan on anything for the 6.8. BTY if you stick around you will soon come to realize who around here is full of shìt and who is not.

Cool

HI!... A 6.8L V-10 is NOT a stroker. Same goes as a lot of people think a 5.4L is a stroked 4.6. It's not. A 4.6 is to a 5.4 as to a 302 is to a 351-W. If the 4.6 and 5.4 shared the same block (dimensions) which they don't , then you could call the 5.4 a stroker but due to the 5.4 has a taller deck height, it is NOT considered a stroker.

Keep the stock stroke and add a 3.70 bore kit to it and get 450 cubes

piston slap was happening for what? 2 model years? That hasn't been a problem with 5.4's of late. So that argument isn't really valid now is it?

Thats what I thought as well. The 5.4 and 6.8 differ in length by about 5 inches. But like you said, they are not stroked from the factory. Ultimately I would like to stroke and supercharge my 6.8. I also heard that boring the 6.8 wasn't a good idea. Why? But 450 ci would be great!
