well you do need to work on chivy engines a lot more often.. so that may be convienient for them....

Take a close look at the crankshaft on the V10. It uses a split crank journal configuration. This makes for a weaker crankshaft. Add to that the extra strain of a blower and you are inviting failure.

You're point is? The 5.4 was made for trucks as well but you have a lot of options when it comes to upgrading it for power.

 

And you can throw 1/2 the stuff he has on his 4.6 and run quicker than 14.90.

 

Yeah he claims his little 4.6 runs 14.90, yet he doesnt dare show us any time slips to prove us wrong. he is all talk about his truck and besides he got kicked off the track and not because he had his ac on as he claims, and the only he claims he runs a 14.90 my first pass ever not full throttle and very slow reaction time, is because i told him I (Tara) had run a 14.90 in my harley truck. He jealous, I bet if I told him I ran a 10.4 the next day he will say he ran a 10.4 loser...

ok faster, no reason to **** talk me. I guarantee you your truck is at LEAST 1000lbs lighter than mine, I have 33x20's that weigh 95lbs each, over 200lbs in sway bars and ladder bars, and well over a 100lb gooseneck hitch in the bed.
