HI!... Well it's hard for you since you have never proven me wrong. Actually it's usually me, that proves you wrong. It's hard for anyone here to take advice from you since you never know what your talking about, and spew mis-information everytime you open your pie hole...............

I know what you mean, like Rockpick in the detailing section, know what I mean? Certain people stay in certain sections, ***ue it, I'm staying in the brakes section dammit. I feel like a noob every time I post in the engines section because nothing really goes on mine for me. If anything, my drivetrain is and has been the most reliable thing on the truck, just above the rest of it which has minor flaws. All's I know is I'd love to rebuild my engine one day, hell, it was my job for years before (cough) layoffs hit hard, so I can tell ya, they aren't really exotic or tricky to build. Trusting someone else to build them for ya with a mixed warranty, (cough, cough) it's a gamble, especially around here. The ONE place Neal mentioned is news to me, but if he mentioned a few more, it wouldn't of surprised me. The place he mentioned did great machining to both my brothers engines as well as my big block. We both had them then built by a local Ford guru, so we were fortunate.

Hey buddy who started this thread, how you making out with rebuilding or researching the fabulous modular engine going? Like I mentioned, there are books to show tips here and there, on a 4.6 mustang engine mostly, but the principle is the same.

Nupe. Don't know what you mean. Please elaborate.

BTW, let's get this discussion back in check, please. The bickering is pretty old at this point in the thread.

Sorry Rockpick, just used an example off the top of my head. I don't usually see you too many places outside of the detailing section, that's all that I meant. I hope that when I ask questions in certain forum sections that certain people reply because that is their area of expertise let's say. I must tell you as a fan of detailing myself, I am proud to see members such as yourself mention first or back up tips that I have done myself.
