HI!... All I know is FLOWMASTER mufflers eat A$$$$!!!!! Had them, will never go back to them. My truck lost H.P and TQ on the dyno with them. The LIGHTNING guys have already proved that the FLOWS cause the F-150's to lose power over the stock muffler. I know I did. Flowmaster is bought for it's distinctive sound, that's it. I gained back all the power I lost and then some with my MAGNAFLOW set-up. MAGNAFLOW for life. Plus the RUSTmasters rotted totally out on my truck in less than 2 years. The MAGGIES are about 5 years old now and still look new. And the droning the FLOWS gave on the highway was terrible. Never buy them again.

HI!... The E40-D is basically a 4R-100 with upgraded parts. Same thing with the 4R70-W, it's a AOD-E with beefier parts and upgraded electronics. 4R-100 is a ton stronger than the 4R70-W. You can build a 4R70-W to hold a ton of power though. My current one was built to hold 600RWH.P but it's experimental, so we'll see how it goes once the T-76 is installed.

Like Neal said, the E4OD - basically the same as a 100 . The 100 is an upgraded E40D that was introduced in 99. The E4OD came in the 97 and 98's w/tow package along with a dual core rad and coolers.. You just learned something lol

You have a 70 = (STANDARD) VRS 100 = (HD)
