I believe under a load, his rear wheel horses were about 266. Wasn't he claiming the 489 was at the rear wheels? What a big difference between the two aint it.
whats that about a 55% DT loss.

and i thought my 28% drivetrain loss was horrendous.

thats a whole different kind of pathetic.

Yeah, that's what Faster said...

That's what prompted my long-winded boost posts.

Yeah, people love to repeat things as fact. I don't know how Faster came up with that, if his tuner told him that, I have no idea why. It's obviously crazy.

I don't know of any place off-hand who can crank-dyno one of these motors. It takes A LOT to do that. You can't just hook up a fuel line and 12vdc and get after it.

And I will tell you right now, the 5.4 I am in the middle of building will smoke the living **** out of Neal's truck. But again, there's a lot more money going into it than even Neal spent on his.

Well, I'm shooting for 1000-1200rwhp. You?

Not to mention I'm building an aluminum block (GT block) DOHC which is a completley different motor.

I think we have two totally different goals. I know you're wanting to go turbo, which I will be right off the bat with an 88mil (S88). I'm not even looking to keep it street worthy. Full sheetmetal intake, air-water intercooler in the passanger seat floor-board, Currie 9", custom 4 link, tubbed, etc.

You do know how to find where to put it, don't you?

Her son and mine played hockey together on the same team. Apparently Ford has 3 piston sizes. Standard, under and over. The bores are measured on the line and the pistons are set in crates, 4 to a crate. There are two banks, left and right for a total of 8 pistons. Follow me so far? Well for a whole series of engines the banks were reversed and the pistons were put in the wrong holes. Can you say piston slap if an over bore cylinder gets an under sized piston. I asked about the inverse jamming up the piston and she said that the diff was not enough to allow the piston to actually stick.

thats hillarious. considering that not even the 04+ models can tow over 7200 lbs with the 4.6

i doubt that yours can handle much more over 6800

please stop comparing your PoS 4.6 to my 3V 5.4

DOES your 4.6 HAVE any OF this?

YOU KNOW WHAT a STOCK 4.6 MIGHT be peppier then my STOCK 5.4 but guess what!? my STOCK 5.4 will move 9,500lbs ALOT quicker and ALOT easier then your 4.6 COULD EVER DREAM of doing.

Can you stick THIS.... up your butt and sing Yankee-Doodle? Then I guess it's not quite as useful as you thought, eh?

I have a couple 5.4 with 4 valves (OMG!) so I pee on you!

I like to sprinkle 3v 5.4's on my raisin bran for that extra crunch.

Nanny nanny booo booo, your trucks a slow little turd, you eat worms, and your momma wears army boots!

Wouldn't want him to be missing out on the .53456922 hp and .458393901 ft/lb peak gains, would we?!
