Is 4.6L Superior to 5.4L

Well, I'm just a big mouth cutting these turkeys up for chits and giggles - however, they do get me back pretty good , but like I said - all in fun. Hell, I'll beat you..., WITH, both my Honda's in the back.

the 4.6 has it to.. the 4.6 is superior not only in a better breathing engine. it handles more abuse and lasts ages longer than a 5.4 will. theres a reason ford has kept the 4.6 for so many years. and a reason the 5.4 has had so many changes over the few years its been around.

if my 5.4 gives me 100,000 trouble free miles then im happy.. plus thats 100,000 miles of having a more powerful engine..
im inexperienced 19 year old self doesnt know what you mean by "better breathing" either..
i honestly dont care if the 4.6 can rev faster.. the truth is my 5.4 can get any load i throw behind it moving with relative ease.
where as alot of people on here state that the 4.6 in the 04+ models cant get the heavier truck out of its own way.
i think what your trying to say is that the 5.4 will inherently wear out faster then the 4.6 by design.. which i of course say is a load of
..

Well yah , that makes sense to keep the 4.6 still does- For those who hall feather dusters and cotton ***** and has the illusion that the 4.6 will get better mileage. There is a market for it. I don't know if there still using the V6 - that just don't make sense to me. The 5.4 came in 97 - I have a 98 and from 200,000 miles past - where's the problems? General maintenance - that's it and it truly feels like it broke in to me . I can't gripe a bit !! I guess I'm a little more into the mechanics of things than the normal Joe - if you don't do your plugs right your going to pay!!
The 5.4 is for people who want a performer - A truck that can handle a real load . I'll tell yuh , if the 4.6s have a better record as far as lasting longer - people aren't using them as trucks. I guarenty a 4.6 will not last longer than .5.4 when pulling it's weight - no fricken way.

. My truck is probably the slowest one here, doesnt stop me from saying it will blow the doors off your Stang though Im pretty sure we are all down on earth already, just givin each other crap.
