Haha , yeah I was surprised to find that on a diesel site - It's got color pictures even
The freakin things protected - they don't want anyone to copy the procedure. I hit print and this PC did the bleep, bleep, bleep - then the illegal action deal, what a drag . I had to fire up the MAC ,copy as a PDF, then print it
Why do they do that? They think your going to sell it and make a few mill? To late it's already published - freakin ridiculous...

I'm goin out to pull the pan now - just to increase presure for third gear , all presures are on there lowest settings.

Hey Fast, you had your converter out before - Do you think it's posible for the converter to slip with the brakes applied then giving it a little gas, without engaging first. I'll pull it if it's the converter, but won't if it's the forward clutch..

if the converter is slipping than its doing its job. but the 1st gear will still be engaged. if first gear is not engaging then yeh i would look at the forward clutches. or make sure your getting enough pressure from the pump. these trannys are kknown for having the front pumps go out in them

lol hey brew your gonna like this...

ok so my arm feels better, enough that i can wrench safely...
so i get a hair up the a$s and decide to tear the block down the rest of the way since i decided to replace everything with forged parts...

4 rod to crank bearings were completely shot, i mean big chunks missing and inside the crank. every bearing had score marks...
main bearings, one was completely ruined like the rod bearings... the rest showed plenty of wear.

funny part is i bought this motor, the seller said "it ticks a little but not bad, still runs good!" so i thought it was something like a bad lash adjuster or something simple... that wasnt a ticking sound he heard that was a few f-n rods startin to knock... moron...

oh yeah, now i see why you cant mix up the oem rod caps... WOW... what happen to the old way of manufacturing rods?

Cool

HI!... Us with 5.4's don't need to prove were faster than the 4.6's. Looking in our rear view mirrors proves that everyday! BWAAAAAAAAAA!

What cases documented and proven? The ONLY thing proven is you and your boyfriend Paul ( slowerf150) constantly piping off about how you think your 4.6's are superior. That of course when both of your mouths are free.

You know what Pat and Paul ( now look, that even has a cute little ring to it),

you guys win! There's no point in arguing about it anymore. I surrender!

Here ya go.
