Klitch,

Man I gotta get one of those kits for my trans - shoot!! That could be a project for me in two weeks . How long did it take you? with one and half hands ? Kidding , but it didn't seem like it took that long..

with my gimp hand, it took me 6 hrs from start to finish with my hiccup on the main valve. which added about 1.5hrs for dropping and draining the pan and valve body for the 2nd time to position the main valve correctly.

Did you get the kit off ebay , theres a few on there , but I haven't delt with the sellers that have them .. Did you go to Summit?

day 2 of the shift kit was on ice and snow...
all i can say is LOL


driving along trying to keep it straight. it shifts and the rear end wants to pass the front. its so much entertaining.

LOL -Yeah sounds like like fun

Mine don't have shift points anymore - they all rounded off I think..

HI!... Try having your rearend pass you during the 1ST to 2ND gear upshift in DRY roads.

im workin on that still. im down to building the block now. but hard to do with 1 hand. oh and i still need a NEW hone and a tq plate too.
if my truck dont do it. ill make sure my classic car will do that.

Ahh, makes me want a shift kit even more.

My 1-2 upshift burns me evertime...

i was leery of it not being what i wanted but it turned out very well.

Mannn, I pulled my kick panels - The inertia switch side and the drivers side as well and I couldn't believe all the corrosion .. Passenger side the worst , ground wires were almost in two pieces. Drivers side weren't making a recognized ground contact. The plug below the inertia switch was compromised.

Fixed them all, didn't notice much except that I have more dash lights now lol and my car starter works like it should..
