why a 4 post, seems like a 2 post would allow you more access. i am looking to buy one and I like the utility of a 2 post like this

I have asked about a 2 post lift but they are worried about insurance. You are not allowed to operate the hoist. The "tool bitch" comes over and operates it. If this guy makes a mistake with a 2 post and positions the arms incorrectly the garage is on the hook for the damages. The likely hood of this happening with a 4 post is almost nil.

HI!... I prefer the 4 post design. Drive on, handles more weight, more stable. The ones at ROTAN have two air jacks that can also lift the vehicle off the platfoem if you need to remove wheels. It's very universal. With a truck like mine, I can't use a 2 post, due to my traction bars. No place to lift from in the rear.

Whats does that mean??

'W' actually means ROMEO, and the '6' is for the WINDSOR. Seems backwards, I know...

03 Screw Lariat 2wd, VIN code 6-WINDSOR 4.6

I couldnt find a 4x4 version at first, so I wondered if they even offered that, but I did a little more searching and found this...

Crown please...

Ridge, mine WILL lay some rubber (small amount) if the conditions are right...
But I also have 32 inch tires with 3.55s, plus more weight than you over your back wheels...

Klitch, I meant ALL 97-98 F150's, not just Lariats . I dont even look at them or care about those years

HI!... Another odd thing is in the U.S.A you could get a 4.2L, V-6, 4x4. In CANADA they never offered a v-6 4x4.

Ahhhh, gotcha

Im me, why shouldn't I deserve the crown??

Took me about 3 minutes to find the 2wd, then maybe 3 to find the 4x4. I tell ya, that extra minute seemed like forever going through all those VIN #s
