Cool

HI!... I'm running the DENSO IT-20's. Best plugs I've had in this truck yet. Very happy with them.

Exclamation

The post earlier about Motorcraft & Autolites being the same is VERY WRONG!!!! I too thought this about the 2 different plugs. Till I talked with a Ford Tech. Yes, a time back Ford owned Autolite. But now they are their own company cutting all ties to Ford. They are a cheaper sparkplug now. MotorCraft is the Better choice here. For the $$ you spend. You can just look around in any store now & buy Autolites, cheap. This isn`t the case with Ford MotorCraft sparkplugs. I hope this Helps out!!!

Neal

Where did you get your Denso's from? I have been looking to replace my stock plugs with Denso's, I just don't know where to buy them.

LARIAT1 and whoever else is interested; I went to Autolites web site yesterday and asked them why Motorcraft plugs still look like Autolites and who makes them? There response was;(which I alredy knew this) "Autolite manufactures ALL Motorcraft spark plugs in the UNITED STATES" I would post that reply here but I am somewhat computer illiterate as how to copy and paste. But,you too can go to autolite.com go to the contact area and email them the same question I asked. As I said before,Autolite and Motorcraft are the same plug!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since we're on about spark plugs... I'm due for my 100,000 mi "tune up". Should I go to the dealer, or find someone who'll put my spark plugs in for me?

Just my opinion, but what I intend on doing is going to a ford dealer that specializes in trucks. That way I can be assured that they have worked on my truck engine before and will change all eight. Also if anything gets f'd up later they will back it up.
