i hear you brother, good luck with the 4R70W rebuild. properly done, you will be fine with the 4R70W. there is a guy on here who has done an L swap turning 38's on his 01 Screw (Brahmus?) with a built 4R70W.

lol im rollin 35's with 4.88 gears. i may regear to 4.56 or jump up in tire sizes. depends on the axle.. lol

i do need a lower cruise rpm tho.

i like one major advantage of the 4r70w aside from weight... i can drop it without getting invasive on the exhaust.

hmm... I'm surprised your 8.8 hasn't grenaded yet, after all, JMC went through three before he went to the 9.75...

no i haven't. I would like to see your f-ed pinion though, lol... a good place to check for the 9.75 if not available locally would be NLOC, I have seen a few on there time to time, in addition to ebay, ect.

a 4r70 can handle the low output of the eaton m90 for a little while; if you add a shift kit. Eventually the trans will let go though.

look into a lighting top end swap VS the allen engineering

So let me get this straight:

You paid for a rebuilt trans, it was bad so you pulled the money back with your credit card. Then the company that built it for you folded so they don't care that you pulled the money?

Mclovin- Not exactly, the company that built it did not fold, WAMU, my bank folded and its on the news. bought by jpmorgan chase.

im confused, the lady on the other end was pissed and thought i was retarded probably cause i didnt understand how she couldnt explain this to me.

the charges have been temporarily reversed, will be permanent in 90 days if there is no response from rods cars.

so i asked if i purchased another transmission if there was a possibility i would still wind up paying for the one from rods cars as well. never got an answer just a pissy tone after that saying you can buy another transmission.

ok where can i find a tranny to run with a supercharger, and also when i add the supercharger i am going to run 26"rims as well so what size gears do i need, and how much would a tranny run to handle a supercharger

also whats the best superchrager for the money to give me the most noticeable power without alot of other performance mods for a 2001 5.4l
