What piece do I need to lower my towing point? ADVICE?
I have a 1999 F150 with the built in hitch...its all part of a single steel bumper....check my gallery for pics.
I have a stand-up jetski that Ive been transporting in the bed...but its a real PITA! I'd like to get a trailer bt it has to be a foldable trailer for storage purposes.
I think I found one, but I think it rides too low for my truck as is....I see all sorts of extensions to rais ethe hitch....what piece would I need to lower it so I can get the trailer hooked up?
Thanks!

There is a 1998 there but that's ok.
There are only three pics and they are all from the front?
I tried to use a mirror, then I took the back off my computer but no luck.
I can't see the rear bumper.
To figure out which 'drop' draw bar you need just use a measuring tape.
Most of us have the truck but ain't no one seen the trailer except you.

MF4444,
There is a bolt-on, "step-down" gizmo available for the underside of your bumper that would have a ball on the lower "step" for towing your trailer. It is 2 horizontal plates welded to 2 verticals that creates a "step" about 8 - 12 inches tall. I would not recommend towing a trailer with a "lot" of tongue weight (no more than 300# tongue weight but keep in mind - I'm not an engineer.)
The other option is to watch ebay and catch a factory receiver hitch for sale; I paid $65.00 for mine, bolted on, not a problem, and probably the best way to go for pulling any type of trailer.
Good luck,
Curt

mg4444,
Try one of these links; they look pretty sturdy:

I think I know what you are looking for.
A hidden Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount will run you about a $100.
If you have other towing that requires a different ball size you will have to manually change them out or purchase an additional ball mount plate.
Try this site.
