where? he started picking at my grammar and calling me an idiot? you can pick at everyones grammar on here, if that's his only argument good for him. sorry i didn't use a , here and a . there. the OP who asked the question understood what is said and knew what i was talking about and it seemed to help him.

OP, it looks like 6" lift springs are available for about $550, consider custom before spending that.

On a serious note though, This is a truck forum. We're all here for the common purpose of helping solve problems and vew other people's awesome creations. Let's not argue.
Your right, I am letting it go. I am just sick of this kid doing this to me. I was offering good advise to mossyoak before this happened. This discourages me from coming on this site. Gets annoying.

For some reason I just can't seem to let this go.

Where are you going to get custom leafs for around or less than $550? Seriously? The four inch leafs from skyjacker with the factory blocks would fix the problem and the truck would be level. You think that telling someone who was not wanting to spend the $550 to go shop around for a custom set like deavers is a logical suggestion? What are they like $1500? Come on man.

You messed with the wrong bull tonight.

Actually I just checked deavers site. $745, 4" springs. If that is for a pair now I am interested. I believe that the price listed is a each price though. I was going to get these when I lifted the truck but had sticker shock.

See something good came from this argument. Here is the website.

people on another forum i'm on have been getting custom leafs made from 600-$1000 for all 4. don't act like i'm an idiot because you don't like my perfect grammar.

Alcan was reportedly 200 a spring. for the LC they are smaller so i can see them being more expensive, but not $775 a piece.

the only risk going custom is if your spring measurements are wrong you will be out money having to ship them back to get corrected, or possibly stuck with a worthless set of springs depending who you deal with.

Wow. Some actual advise and almost adequate grammar. You are spending a little more time proofreading before hitting the post button huh?

I am looking at getting some rear leafs myself so I will look into that. But if your post is correct why even go through the hassle with alcan to save a few bucks. Just spend a little extra for the skyjacker springs or fork over a lot and get the deavers.

I am back to thinking you are just an idiot.

My personal labor to change out leafs multiple times to save a few bucks is not wise. Whether it is monetary or my personal labor it is still an expense forgone. Spending an extra $150 bucks once assures me I can spend my weekends on something a little more pleasing than my garage floor wrenching my truck for no good reason. Not mention the headache trying to ship those chunks of steel back to al an and trying to get my money back.

Typing on this IPad is definitely a challenge. I keep hitting the wrong keys. Or missing one.
