1" add-a-leafs??
I know I have another suspension thread going right now, but I have a different question now. Does anybody know if you can get add-a-leafs that only give 1" of lift? If so, who makes them? I know you can get 1.5" AALs, but I don't want quite that much lift. I only need barely over 1" of lift in the rear to make my truck level. I have a 5" Fabtech block now

Come on man I thought I split hairs....LOL...I just put in add-a-leaf and I got just over 1". I love it, it rides much better with it. Procomp long leaf is the one I put in. Seriously it made quite a bit of a difference with mine as far as road manners. It still flexes offroad and besides it is not like I am a rock crawler or anything. I agree about hating rake though...

my 1" AAL gave me 1.5". left it flexed out for long periods and put 800+ lbs in the bed and it never settled before i sold the truck.
i would seriously consider a 4" skyjacker AAL and get rid of the 5" block and go back to your stock blocks. so instead of 5" in the rear you will have 5 5/8" so close to what you want but not over.

That sounds like the best plan, but also the most expensive plan. I've thought about doing that before

it was advertised as a 1.5", I got almost that exactly, not quite but very close...Just go with the skyjacker leafs....You will be better off then. Whole new rear suspension.

you just bought a $1200 bumper...$500 for a whole new rear suspension is not bad....Or try the add-a-leaf temporarily then put on the leafs...That is the way I pretty much went as I have other projects going and could not justify another $500 for leafs...I probably will put them on early next year...My truck only get a 1000 miles a year put on it at most so no big deal. I have not even started in a month...

Just saying. That bumper would look great on my truck...I am considering having something custom made. I like the iron bull you bought but I also like the tube style bumpers. A friend up north had one made for his tacoma that could withstand a winch and hi-lift and it looked great as well as being strong...Like I said the truck is on hold until spring so I have plenty of time to figure our what to get leaf and bumper wise...
