just take out the lift blocks and put on 2wd u-bolts, there's like a 2" difference between the 2wd u-bolts and 4wd u-bolts. i just left the lift block off of it, and i put shackles and hangers on it now and i still can't seem to hit the bump stops unless i have about 800lbs or more in the bed and i hit a bump.

i got mine from a junkyard for a whopping $25. supposively you can get new ones from autozone or other parts stores for around the same price or something like that. (see if anyone on here wants to trade, plenty of 2wd trucks wanting to be lifted, and they have to switch out u-bolts)

Dang, just looking back over old posts, still gonna lower my '07 FX4 come Spring, starting with to stock FX2 front spec using factory sport tuned shocks likely and FX2 rear U bolts without the blocks ..... might even go for a set of longer shackles out back.
That's a good looking truck as is .... well, needs a wash & wax ..... but I like it!
Front tires show excess negative camber, guess it's pre-alignment?
After driving around with a 2" leveling kit and 33's for a few years, I decided to remove the leveling kit and drop the truck 3" using Belltech lowering struts and rear shackles. Although the truck handles great, I miss the raised look so as soon as I can find a heater for my garage I'm installing a Pro-Comp 6" lift, 4.56's and Nitto 35's.
I wouldn't raise it, but it's yours ..... see you already have the stuff stacked up. Might let me know what you want to do with the take off shackles and maybe shocks after you do?

i believe any chevy 1/2 ton with torsion keys years 99-06 will work. and as the wheels and offset, i have no idea about any of that, i suggest you post up in the wheels/tires subforum on here and see if they can help you.
