softer ride, opinions wanted

In your opinion or from experience or just suggestions in general, what could I do to get a softer ride or feel? I've got the bilsteins up front and the procomp shocks that came with the lift in the back. I have heard the UCA's help out and I've heard the same about coilovers. Just looking for people's opinions and suggestions on whatever brands or any ideas.

I'd check the air pressure in the tires first. In my area shops tend to inflate every tire to the max psi listed on the sidewall. You would be surprised at the difference in ride quality when dropping from 50 or 55 psi to 40 psi.

I have the Fabtech Dirt Logic coilovers and when I put my new Camburg UCA's on the ride was a LOT smoother.

Thanks Wandell, that was the problem. The 35's were at 50 psi, lowered them to about 42 and rides smooth as glass.

Before it was not as smooth and sort of jarred you more. You could feel each little bump and it seemed like it was magnified. Now its bouncy and smooth. Perfect.

I don't think UCAs are going to help with the ride at all. The joint is much stiffer than the stock UCA so if anything it should be a harsher ride. I'd look into getting something custom valved like Kings, SAWs, Camburgs. Do you need to correct the front, rear, or both?

Trust me, it's smoother. Now it may not have that large of an effect if your coilovers aren't cranked or don't even have them at all, but if you have them and they are cranked then UCA's are going to help.

I'm running 37" tires and mine is smooth. I had to play around with my air pressure. That makes a bigger difference than you might think.

Also, I was running bad tires. I changed to the Toyo MT's. That made a big change.

The thing that really dialed everything in was the rims. I changed out my rims and the new ones were better rounded. That was huge.
