Um, I think that when they check the PIN and everything, it HAS to match your personal info or a family members.

 

That's right, they actually check with your employer on the information you give. I had this happen to me. I had just received my job offer from Lockheed Martin and I went to buy my truck before I started working there, but I used their X-plan partner number, and I got a call asking me to clarify everything. After I told them what was going on, they let me get it anyway. Ford does take it seriously though. It's apparently worth a lot to them.
