x-plan is 4% over A-plan (which is same as Y-plan I think, maybe not)

also...I've nevr seen an invoice that actually lists x-plan price....only A-plan and then the dealer adds 4% to get x

 

Yeah, that's what I meant. I calculated the percentage wrong. I had to work backwards from my invoice printout.

Volvo: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 2%

Thanks, logical! A couple of phone calls to the Rebate line and my dealership resulted in a confirmation of the $750 Xplan rebate. I am stopping by the dealership this afternoon to sign the rebate form. The dealership was not originally aware of the rebate. It only ran from July 20 to July 31. It really pays to read posts like these!

 

Do I get a percentage?

 

I just bought my S-crew last week & was surprised when I was given an extra $600 rebate! I had called Ford 3 days before & asked them about any additional incentives for X-plan members & they told me there weren't any. I don't know if my dealer made a mistake, but I didn't ask.

 

I bought my supercrew in november of 2000. oxford white, 4x4, power everything, moon roof, cloth seats. i'm not a big fan of leather. i paid 29,000 for mine. does anyone know of any rebate then? 13,000 miles on my baby and i love her. had to put the stainless nerfs on for the wife. i din't even know about the x plan? my family and i bought 5 trucks in the last 3 years and i have never really got a great deal. how do i become an x plan member. got 5.9 financing for 60 mos. thanks

 

It's not a membership thing. Check with your employer to see if they are a partner with Ford. Only certain companies have partnered with Ford and have the X-plan incentives for their employees. I work for Lockheed Martin.

 

As far as the extra goodies and things, it was my understanding that they are sent randomly to new buyers. Just like the fold up chairs (No Boundaries) that some Expedition buyers (and now SportTrac) received.

Not sure how they determine who gets them. There may also be times when everyone gets them.

 

Like someone above said, you can get it through your employer. I received x-plan from mine (Duke Power/Energy). But if they don't offer it, someone posted a site on the board here before where you can join. Its some type of aircraft club? Go to www.eaa.org and on the left near the top will be a link to EAA Partner Recognition, Ford Motor Company. Go there for more info, pay $40 to join the club and they will send you a pin. Well worth the $40.

 

I just bought my new SCrew last week and the dealer didn't say anything about an x-plan rebate. I did see a 9100 series rebate for A/D(?)/X/Z plan but figured it didn't apply to me. Does this rebate apply to x-plan buyers? How can I find out? And is there anyway I can contact Ford to see if they have claimed this rebate without giving it to me? Thanks! Love my new SCrew!

Oh, and I have seen a post where this rebate is limited to A/Z buyers. Is this the case now?

The Rebate number is 800-642-4484. Stay on the line and wait for an operator. I was told there wasn't one (a rebate for xplan). But it may just be in my zip code. Good luck.

 

I purchased a 2001 Lariat Supercrew on 8/15/2001 using the
"A - Plan" . I recieved the $1500 rebate. I called Ford Program Headquarters for " A-Z Plan Purchases" and asked about additional rebates or "Plan" rebates and was told


" There are NO additional Rebate at this time..."



If anyone find that one is in effect ,please let me know.

When I placed my order, there was only a $500 truck rebate and no X-Plan rebate. At 6/27 delivery, I got a $1,000 truck rebate and $500 X-Plan rebate. Sounds like they've sweetened that even more.
