Most annoying F150 features

Ive had my truck for a couple of months now and the auto lock feature drives me nuts. Everytime i wanna get anything out of my truck all the damn doors are always closed.
Most annoying thing was the setbelt minder which I disabled as soon as humanly possible however the number two most annoying feature the autolock I can`t disable.
I`ve followed the manual to the letter 20 times to disable the autolock bs but it will not do it
Really really stupid features imop

I agree about the auto-lock .. other than that the rear visibility just sucks.. I don't have the backing sonar so lots of times it's get out and look.. lol.. worst rear vis of any truck I've ever driven, tho that's the price for the deep bed I guess..

Ya, my Lariat didn't come with the reverse sensors my Expy has. So I added the reverse camera when I put in a Pioneer GPS AVIC-Z1. It's some help but the reverse sensors are definitely better. Anyone know of a decent aftermarket sensor system?

Why do people hate the auto lock feature? I can't see much if any use for it but I don't see the hindrance.

I see no point in the autolock. Luckily it was shut off when I bought my truck. Most annoying feature to me is the seat. It's just not that comfortable or supportive.

Scenario:

Get in vehicle, all doors are unlocked.
Start vehicle, put in "D", all doors automatically lock.
Arrive at destination, put in "P".
Exit driver's door.
Go to passenger side of truck to grab items sitting on passenger seat/floor.
Passenger door is locked.
Swear.
Return to driver's side of vehicle and onlock all doors, or retreive key fob from pocket to unlock doors.
Think to oneself "I need to remember to disable that damn autolock feature".
Repeat process for the way home.

Does happen with me once every 2-3 months. I can see that this might be annoying but reaching into your pocket for the fob is difficult? After owning the truck for a few weeks I then remembered to unlock the doors. It's certainly _very_ good that Ford added the option to disable this feature as I see little need for it.

If the doors would unlock after putting vehicle in park all would be good. Wonder why they didn't design it like that.

Difficult? Not at all. Annoying? Yes, very much so, hence the title of this thread.

Understood. Still, my vote would either be the _long_ delay in changing CDs in the 6 disc changer or the lack of control the automatic AC has.
