Newbie here

Hey guys I'm new at this site. I recently bought a F-150 supercrew FX4. The real reason I came upon this site is because I bought a brush guard off of Dealsofsteel.com. I have no clue how to bolt it to the frame. Do I have to remove the tow hook's and use those holes. Oh and no it didn't come w/ the instruction's to mount the brackets. It came with all the other instruction's. If anybody can let me know how to bolt the bracket on the frame it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank's for the help in advance.

Welcome to the site! Most of the brushguards bolt to the frame with the towhook mounting bolts.

Welcome to the forum!

Their web page says "attaches to the frame & requires no drilling for a sturdy installation" so it looks like the tow hooks have to go

ok I will have to take those out tonight. The next thing that confuses me is the brackets because the holes on the guard itself go left to right and if it bolts to the holes on the tow hooks the holes on the brcket will be up and down, unless I have to use 2 bracket's. I will take those out tonight and let you know if I figured it out if not I'm sure I will have more question's for ya. (hopefully not)
Thank's again

Ok I think I know what the problem was. I sent pictures to my of the mounting bracket's to my cousin and he think's that the bracket's are for a 2004. He said that his brackets didn't look at all like that and he had a 2000 f150. Anybody know if the 2000 f150's have the same setup for 2003 f150's.

Have you tried calling or emailing the company for clarification on how they install? They might even have installation instructions in a PDF file they could point you to

Yeah they emailed me the instruction's and I had 4 guys puzzled. in the instruction's one of the bracket's is suppose to go under the grill but over the bumper. There's nowhere to mount that bracket. I could e-mail you the instruction's if ya want.

Go to the Photo Galleries at the top of the page and click on it. Then click on Create Your Own Gallery! and just follow the instructions. You have to have the pics in your gallery in order to post them on this forum.
