Just checked on recalls for my particular 05 and there's nothing current.

According to the NHTSA, there are currently no active campaigns for the 05 F-150... there is, however, one active for SuperDuty (F-250/350/Excursion).

www.ownersite.com is a great resource for tracking all of your vehicle maintenance records and such. If you go to that site, there's a quick link at the bottom left of the page that will assist you in researching recall and/or TSB information for your vehicles.

RP,

I looked at the TSB's for the 04 Screw and there must have been about 100+. I do have an occasional idle stutter. If I bring my truck (2004 Screw 20K miles). to any service garage are the flash's and other TSB items covered under said TSB's as free service repair items??

TSBs and recalls are 2 different things. Recalls are mandatory repairs to fix defects that affect the safe operation/ownership of the vehicle.

A TSB is a document from Ford engineering to the delaers/mechanics on how to fix certain complaints/problems that arise. If you are still under warranty then the repair would be free.
