I just saw a news piece about 2001 ish F-150's spontaneously catching fire while sitting in the driveway/garage! It was noted by two of the owners that the cruise control had quit working just before.

Apparently there have been 36 REPORTED occurances.

I know there ae thousands of trucks out there, but...

Has anyone else heard of this problem? If so, what is the cause.
