Anybody's truck catch on fire yet

I saw on the news today that 04 f150's were catching on fire after they had been parked and actually burning down garages. There have been 30 cases of this. There might be a big recall soon. Anyone else heard of this?

What news agency? I did an extensive search and cannot find anything to corroborate this.

The issue isn't with our trucks, its with some other models and their cruise control thingies... there's a thread in GD...

I saw it on my local news last night Dec. 17 they said it was with the 04 f150 navigator and expedition and showed a burned down house with a burnt truck in the garage. I went to the news website and searched it all over Wral.com and i couldnt find anything. I was having mud flaps installed on my truck and I was in the waiting room when it come on I know i aint dreamin this up.

I have not heard anything yet.. but I have seen two 04's F150's (5.4) with fire damage at local salvage auctions over the last year.. with no damage besides the engine fire.

Goof grief folks. Took me 1 minute on google to find loads of info. Appears to be 2000 models, I see nothing about 04/05's.
