Lol. The truck is still here and will always be until I lose interest in it. MeneGene hit the nail on the head. I've held out a long time for what I wanted and enjoyed the hell out of being single. Finding a career oriented girl who doesn't want kids, is focused, has her **** together, and is succesful is a hard find. Add pretty to the mix to the mix and I'm all over it. Didn't plan it, things just fell in to place.

The truck is a bit jealous though lol. She blew a coolant line Friday. 3/4 line running back to the heater core. Easy fix. I had taken that stupid govenor out of the line a few years ago and put a coupling there. The coupling spilt. Got her home without over heating, $3.49 for a better coupling, and $30 of anti-freeze later and she was running strong. Plus it forced me to clean under the hood.

 

I too have been entertaining the idea of getting a forged bottom end. I was looking at a modmax short block for $2900. Anyone her ever use their stuff?
