Fatherford, Batn68, and I are running 12psi on stock motors. Not sure if anyone else is. Some folks with built motors running more. I only wanted 11psi out of this but after the port job she went up. We actually saw peaks of 13 but an average of 12.2. Here at home (sea level) its more like 12.5. I need a relief valve lol. I dont want that much.

don't be scared... Lighting guys run 18lbs on factory rods. The 18lbs of boost isn't the problem, it's the detonation, or the just throwing the rods around (cruise at 2000rpm, punch the accel, switch gears, ramp to 4800rpm) that kills the engine.

Are you talking about straight figures at the same boost or accounting for boost lost also. I'd think you'd gain a pound or more at sea-level.

Nice numbers. You have a monster truck there. Can't wait to see the results after your 60lb injectors.

Congrats. Very impressive. Can't wait to see the 60lb's and some track times.

I wish Troyer wasn't 18 hrs away from me. I learn so much talking to him on phone it would be brain overload in person.

Oh it is. Good grief the details he puts into everything is amazing. I get a notebook out when we talk otherwise i can't retain all of it lol. Hoping he can squeeze me for Friday for the tune with 60's. If its next Friday i will have to leave Covington earlier a.m. and drive straight to Rockingham to race.

I think the 2.5% was just an approximation because DA changes a lot. The lower in altitude we are the more oxygen we have available in the air, the colder it gets same thing, more oxygen molecules per # of air, denser air charge.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Density_altitude

We had a night last Winter here in Vegas when the DA was -1900'!
