more parts
intake manifold I bought from lowflying bird with a custom adapter to bolt a lightning upper plenium onto the aluminum 5.4 "PI" intake, witha good port and polished upper plenium and accufab single blade throttle body... I know I will lose a bit of low end but the top end power should more than make up for it. I think I will be switching to a mustang mounting bracket for the procharger for ease of plumbing.
a dodge cummins innercooler is on the list now too along with a built 4r75 trans swap and a 2800rpms stall converter
YES this is starting to get serious guys and my wife is being supportive so I am going to try for the 6.2 stroker kit as well

a '99 PI 5.4; it's the one lowflyingbird had in the classifieds, it's really nice, great welding and everything. I am going to do some of my own epoxy and smoothing work. but there is absolutly nothing wrong with running it now.
possibly a powdercoating
I found a new support bracket (a custom one) as well to keep the bracket from flexing. I may try for a F1 head unit still but am unsure if it's gonna be needed. I honestly think the mustang brackets will be easier since it will place teh head unit on the passenger side (and I think I can run the blower off of the 8 rib engine serpentine system)

I'd like a HPS intake but for now I'll play with this one.
I was cleaning up some of the dirt and stuff from it and wanted to see how the coil screws and injectors would look
here's a couple of the work done to remove the seperator making it a single plane manifold
I have some plastic work to do and gasket match the runners at the bottom

with the mustang mounting kit I can run an 8 rib belt and a 3.00 pulley, the '97-'98 mounting bracket provides the most belt wrap and I could run a larger head pulley with the use of one of VMP's overdrive crank pulleys...
yes it does, either way the current setup will still be in use one way or another
it will be when it's all done, just have to hear back from sullivan with the dimentions of thier upper plenium and I will know which way I end up going...

I wonder if I can just switch the idlers and head unit to the other side of the plate and run this on the passenger side of the engine?
seriously I'm about to drop 4 grand on a F1A mustang kit and end up sleeping in the garage
another 5 grand on the engine, plus at least 3 for the trans then tuning and louder exhaust would **** my wife right off but it'd be so worth it
