A question for the lowered guys here. I have some bumpsteer in the front and was wondering if I could use a kit similar to the ones that are used on mustangs. It uses a heim joint with a spacer and a bolt. Any ideas?

I have thought about a stabilizer. But I think I would like to try and correct my front end geometry first.

Well you best bet is to flip your your tie rods around your tie rods need to be as.level as.possible and no a steering stabilizer wont work. Also make sure you have a really good alignment done I had some bump steer I took it to a different shop for a alignment and bump steer was gone.

On the 04-08(on my truck anyway) the tie rod already mounts thru the bottom of the spindle.

The tie rods are already pointing upward, that is what causes bump steer. So I can't move them higher up. You need the tie rods to be level across or pointing down.

i havent looked at the tie rods in forever i know they need to be as level as possible you might need to look into a custom set of upper control arms with a uniball kinda like the camburgs. have you looked at your upper and lower ball joints to make sure they arent bad??

New lower ball joints. And the uppers were great when I put in the Lca's. I don't have a rattle in the front. Just when I hit a good sized bump on the highway you lose some control of the steering wheel.
